AION EMS Zeus continues to grow from a Home Assistant energy dashboard into a complete energy intelligence and control platform.

The latest stable release, v14.8.3, represents an important milestone for the project. Heat Pump Intelligence now provides clear separation between Space Heating and Domestic Hot Water, including electrical consumption, thermal generation and improved live operating information.

The new architecture has also been successfully tested on different real-world systems, including Buderus and Viessmann Vitocal heat pumps, helping move Zeus further toward its goal of manufacturer-independent energy management.

Battery Statistics has received its own dedicated intelligence area, providing live state of charge, charging and discharging activity, historical performance, battery contribution and evidence-based efficiency information.

Zeus Smart Control continues to mature as well. The my-PV ELWA control system has now been validated on multiple Home Assistant installations, including the complete setup process for a newly registered device.

The Command Center has also evolved with improved Heat Pump and DHW information, live thermal production, energy forecasting, device activity and the Home Energy Timeline — bringing the most important information about the home together on a single screen.

Behind the scenes, significant work has gone into reliability, Recorder efficiency, device configuration and compatibility to make Zeus safer and easier to deploy on different Home Assistant installations.

And there is more to come.

Development continues with real-world testing, community feedback and one central goal:

Make home energy understandable, intelligent and useful — regardless of manufacturer.
